I just placed an order for the WM8741 card as it became available on the official store. Then, I saw it requires a firmware update, which was mentioned in this thread previously. I thought it might be a simpler process since this release seems more official. But as I looked up more, it still requires an update board, which will be mezzanined to the mainboard by removing the sticker in the DAC compartment. I think the good thing is that the board should be included within the package.
Je sais pas trop quoi penser du conditionnel employé concernant le fait que la carte pour l'update soit incluse avec le module WM8741
