Not sure if you caught DMP-WM1 FE or just DMP-WM1 II, but FE is really the best one yet, with FE+ now being an extension of FE.

With FE, the two best thing in my opinion are how natural everything sounds and how harshless everything is - no metallic sheens, no glares, nothing. These two are followed by the soundstage being wrapped around your head instead of being widened, and then followed by the spaciousness and how relaxed yet authoritative things sound, making the sound very musical and foot tapping.

FE+ will use a little more battery in exchange for an improved presentation of the FE sound signature, revealing more details overall, with better control over lows, etc.

The good thing is that FE and FE+ will exist in the same firmware package, so you just use the Hold button to decide which one you want to use.
